Now the point is How to format first page of IGNOU solved assignments? What to Write and what not to write is another problem for the students. But let me tell you guys, IGNOU has prescribed a format for your assignment responses and you have to attach this page with your details on the first page of each and every solved assignment. IGNOU has instructed to clearly mention on the first page of all your assignment responses the course code, course title, assignment code, your enrollment number, name and address. This standard format can be seen later in this post. Following are the instruction for formatting your IGNOU Solved Assignments: INSTRUCTION FOR FORMATTING YOUR IGNOU ASSIGNMENT

- Write your Enrollment Number, Name, Full Address and Date of Dispatch at the top right-hand corner of the first page of your answer sheet.
- Write the Programme Title/ Code, Course Title/Code, Assignment Number and Name and Code of the Study Centre on the left-hand corner of the first page of your answer sheet.
- The top of the first page of your answer sheet for each assignment should be as follows:

PLEASE FOLLOW THE ABOVE FORMAT STRICTLY TO FACILITATE EVALUATION AND TO AVOID DELAY.
- The Assignment Response should be hand-written and use only A-4 or foolscap size writing paper (but not of very thin variety) for writing your answers.
- Leave at least 4 cm margin on the left, top and bottom of your answer sheet for the evaluator’s comments.
- While solving the questions, clearly indicate the question number along with the part being solved. Recheck your work before submitting it.
- This assignment will remain valid for one year. However, you are advised to submit it within eight weeks of receiving this booklet to accomplish its purpose as a teaching-tool.
